Abstract
Dimethyldiazirine ((CH3)2CN2) is an intriguing molecule
in terms of the photophysical and photochemical properties
due to its high-strained trigonal CN2 ring. Spectroscopic
studies have been carried out for this molecule in the ground
electronic state, and it has been found that dimethyldiazirine
belongs to the C2V point group.
