Abstract
This study is about educational theories of J. S. Bruner(1915~), who is a psychologist and educator. The purpose of this study is to examine Burner's theories on education and to find out possibilities and limitations of implementation of his theories in to Korean education. In doing so, this research focuses on the following issues.
First, his scholastic achievements are examined through his life and writings. Second, his educational thoughts are considered. Third his theories are analyzed in the views of theory of knowledge structure, of cognition structure, and of instruction.
